About Duisburg Kontor
Duisburg Kontor is the central player for city marketing, event management and tourism promotion in Duisburg. As a subsidiary of the City of Duisburg, we are committed to positioning the city as an attractive business, cultural and leisure location.
We are pursuing an overarching common goal with a network of citizens, businesses, administrators, and politicians: to measurably improve the city's image in the public eye, both internally (urban society) and externally (media, investors, tourists).
Our tasks include organizing and marketing major events such as the Duisburg Christmas market and weekly markets. We also run the tourist information office and develop campaigns to promote the location.
With creative marketing concepts, social media campaigns, and innovative event formats, we help to present Duisburg as a modern, cosmopolitan, and livable city.

Thanks to its central location in the Ruhr region, excellent transport links, and role as a European logistics hub, Duisburg is an important business location.
