The Hargreaves Group is a group of companies consisting of the parent company “Hargreaves raw material services GmbH” (HRMS) and the two subsidiaries “DK Recycling und Roheisen GmbH” (DK) and “Hargreaves-EWT Industrieservices GmbH” (HEIS), based in Duisburg.
HRMS is a pure trading company for industrial raw materials such as coke/coal, coal dust, and pig iron. Since its founding in 2006, the company has established itself as a strategic partner for the steel and foundry industries, among others, and guarantees reliable and fast order processing.
DK is one of the world's largest recyclers of ferrous waste materials from the steel industry and a producer of high-quality pig iron. With its proprietary and globally unique “DK process,” the company now achieves a recycling rate of around 98%. The by-products of the process, such as zinc concentrate and blast furnace slag, are also returned to the recycling cycle.
HEIS was founded together with EWT Schiffahrtsgesellschaft mbH and offers blast furnace slag processing and various industrial services in the port of Duisburg. In addition, coal dust from the company's own production can also be obtained through the group of companies.
